Elizabeth Reaser, an American actor from the film, television and theatre best known for roles like The Twilight Saga as well as TV shows such as Greys Anatomy or True Detective. After reading the script, Jessica was aware that the character would require weapons training as well as a first lesson by a professional. The actress had never taken on a major role before in the US, as all of her filmography was in Australia. Jessica's martial arts and horseback riding ability and athleticism allow her to do stunts, embodying the character of a strong woman. On set, filming Season 4, Jake Stormoen encountered a dog who was roaming about the filming. The dog in question was actually one of the stray puppies that had been living in a setting. Jessica took care of at most two of these pups.
