Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her part as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. They got married the year 2009 and wed with a civil ceremony December of the same year. When she converted to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show her good news that she had become pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase at a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the show's premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to her work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production of the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV in 2013. Entertainment Television.
